Nala

A friend of mine recently adoped an adorable little kitten.  Her name is Nala, and she is only one year old.  For a kitty so young, I was surprised at how gentle and sweet she can be.  However, I did have a little bit of a hard time taking this photo because she was so inquisitive and didn't want to stay still.

She was so fluffy in my hand!  Urge to adopt my own kitty intensifies!

    my DD has 2 cats one was from a friends litter (she is now 18) and the other she adopted and she is now 8...very spoilt they are

    So cute. Why not adopt one (or two, to keep them occupied)? I miss my two girls so much (today, Mother's Day, is the anniversary of my losing the second of the pair. I will definitely adopt another pair after I pay down some more debt.)

    Oh yeah, I've been tempted to adopt two (so they can indeed keep each other occupied, and learn to socialize with other people or animals). Although I am tempted to adopt dogs for better overall health and to help guard the house, I have also been told that cats would be a better fit given my disposition.

    Like most anything involving costs though, I suppose I have a tendency to drag my feet for months, perhaps even years....
